No PC version has been announced. That matches how the studio handled GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, both of which followed their console launch with a PC release well over a year later.

December 2023: the announcement

Rockstar published the first trailer on 4 December 2023, a day earlier than planned after the video leaked. The trailer confirmed the setting, the two protagonists and a 2025 launch window. No month was given.

May 2025: the second trailer and the first delay

The second trailer arrived in May 2025 and moved the launch into 2026. Take-Two framed the extra time as polish rather than trouble, which is the standard line, but the studio has a long record of shipping late and shipping finished.

2026: the final delay to November

The launch was pushed once more, from an earlier May 2026 window to the current 19 November 2026 date, announced shortly before the second trailer's first anniversary. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick reaffirmed the date on the company's August 2026 earnings call, and Rockstar closed its Extended Look presentation on 27 August 2026 by restating it as locked in.

Is GTA 6 going to be delayed again

As of this update, there is no report of a further delay. The date has now been repeated across an earnings call and a major gameplay showcase within the same month, which is a stronger signal than a single announcement. Preloading opens 12 November 2026, a week ahead of launch, which is itself a sign the studio considers the date fixed: preload dates do not get set on titles that are still slipping.

What is still not confirmed
